Strict Adherence to Local Regulations
We are fully licenced in each of the jurisdictions where we operate, and comply with all local rules and regulations. In Canada, CanadianForex is a Money Services Business as defined in the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act (PCMLATF Act) and as such is registered with FINTRAC (registration number M08560392).
Low Risk Business Model
Our business model is inherently a low risk one. By offering a deliverable-only foreign exchange service we do not take positions in the market ourselves, so we assume very little transactional or market risk.
Website Security
Our secure online platform uses minimum 2048 bit SSL certificates to encrypt traffic and Thawte online security and protection.
Risk Management Policies and Procedures
Macquarie Bank in Australia is a major shareholder in the OzForex Group. While our operations are not supervised, and our liabilities are not guaranteed, in any way by Macquarie, we have adopted the bank's global risk management policies and procedures.
